Collection & use of personal information

South Coast Furnishings collects limited personal information such as title, name, contact details (address, phone & fax) and email address, and uses this information for the following purposes:

  • To complete a transaction.

To deal with your queries or customer service issues promptly. We may also keep information on your communication with our customer service representatives.

To keep you up to date with products, services, events or promotions we think would be of particular interest. We may also send you direct marketing to tell you about products and services.

Payments

Any balance owing, must be paid either before or on delivery of your goods.

 

Made to order stock

Items which are made to individual customer specifications, including all upholstered & stained items which have to be ordered specifically for a customer, cannot be returned, unless these items proven to be faulty.

 

Refund conditions

South Coast Furnishings will give a instore credit for cash & carry items (excluding furniture & clearance/sale items) found to be unsuitable: if:

It is returned in its original condition

It is returned within 7 days of purchase

It is in its original packaging un-opened

It is accompanied by its original receipt

(Note: Blinds, shades, curtains & bedlinen packaging must be un-opened & sealed unless the item is being returned due to a fault) For all refunds over $150, a cheque will be posted to you within 7 working days.

 

Cancellations of any order due to change of mind will attract a cancellation fee of 20% of the value of the order

 

Conditions of sale

Furniture sold is for domestic use only unless specified. Title of the goods will pass on only upon receipt of full payment

 

Arrival of goods

Items in stock from our supplier’s have an approximate lead time of  3 weeks from initial ordering to receiving in our warehouse, this does not include custom orders or orders from interstate suppliers, please speak to your sale’s assistant to clarify the lead time on your item.

 

Delivery of goods

South Coast Furnishings charges for deliveries (see delivery charges instore). Delivery charges do not include rubbish removal or delivering items upstairs
